The
latest of Samsung’s fourth generation phones is designed to get consumers
closer to what matters in life and bring their world together.
Local
Samsung partner, JOBOST Phones in Kumasi, partnered Samsung Electronics to
introduce to product to consumers in the Ashanti region.
Regional
Deputy Minister, Samuel Yaw Adusei, at the product launch, alluded to the
importance of mobile technologies in playing competitively on the global stage.
“The
Ashanti region will patronize the product thinking about the offer that this
new technological gadget gives to us in terms of education, in terms of knowledge,
in terms of information”, said the Deputy Minister.
Just
a week after the product’s introduction on the Kumasi market, sales and
customer patronage of the Samsung S4 have been described as fantastic.
“It’s
a hot cake. People can’t even get the quantities that they want; Kumasi is
actually selling a lot, Tamale is selling a lot”, stated Joris Dweben, Samsung Retail
Manager for the Northern Sector. “This we know is going to overtake the remarkable
sales that we really chalked with the S3”.
The
Ashanti regional launch coincided with the opening of the Samsung VIP office by
JOBOST Phones at Asokwa for busy executives to experience special offers.
According
to Managing Director of JOBOST, Joseph Osei Tutu, “Samsung Galaxy S4 has been
accepted in the market and its wow, amazing… we are trying to grow our
customers from bronze to platinum where they can have unique packages from us;
that is why we have branded this place as VIP to serve that better”.
