Samsung’s ADH warranty to drive sales of Galaxy Note 3 in Ghana

Dealers of mobile phone handsets in Kumasi are hopeful sales of the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be driven by Samsung’s Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) warranty.

The 24-hour warranty gives users of the device an opportunity to get a new device should it be damaged.

“They’ve decided to do the screen damage replacement for Note 3 as they’ve done for S4; so it will be a good service to consumer. The unique aspect is great”, says leading partner Job Osei Tutu of Jobost Phones, who was among the over 2000 individuals who converged in Cape Town, South Africa to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy Note 3.

Compared with the Galaxy S4, patronage of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been slow on the local market since the leading mobile phone manufacturer launched the product last week.

Some dealers attribute the slow sales trend to general economic slowdown.

They are however hoping the market pick up with increased awareness of the mobile device replacement for customers should they be damaged.

Meanwhile, Mr. Osei Tutu says his company is offering local customers additional insurance option for phone replacement.

According to him, customer satisfaction must be upheld for business to thrive.
